Aerating: We know what your yard needs

Aeration is recommended on an annual basis. Paired with fertilizer, this will provide one of the biggest health benefits for your lawn, a great spring time boost.

One of the key parts of a complete lawn care plan is AERATING, the soil conditions in our service areas are greatly improved when aerated. Core aeration is the method of loosening up compacted soil by removing "plugs" of soil, allowing water to penetrate deep within the soil and facilitating the exchange of air in the soil with fresh air from the atmosphere. Aerating your lawn is a great way to reduce thatch, loosen up compacted soils and make it easier for water, nutrients, and fertilizers to reach the roots of your turf. Even with the best care available, lawns can thin out and lose color due to thatch build-up, foot traffic, pet traffic, or periods of high temperature, high humidity, or drought creating hard or compacted soils.
